Teen Challenge Columbus Girls Academy
Year-Round Christian School for Struggling Teen Girls
Seale, Alabama

Columbus Girls Academy is a Christian boarding school for girls aged 12-17 who have been exhibiting dangerous or unhealthy behaviors. While most students here come from loving homes, it's not uncommon for them to have experienced trauma, bullying, or some kind of abuse. In other cases, students may be displaying symptoms of issues such as:

  • low self-esteem
  • defiance
  • depression
  • theft and stealing
  • manipulation of friends and family
  • promiscuity
  • substance abuse
  • self-harm
  • risky online behavior
  • ADHD and ADD
  • ODD
  • Bipolar disorder
  • RAD

It is common for these students to avoid accepting responsibility for their actions, and therapy will teach girls how to own mistakes and be held accountable. Education is fully accredited and year-round, which is perfect for troubled students. Girls can not only make up missing credits, but also maintain a college pace if that is their goal.

Outside the classroom, girls are offered a variety of experiences, from chapel services to athletics to fine arts. Additionally, CGA is a faith based boarding school operating under Teen Challenge USA. Teaching girls to develop a personal relationship with their savior is the foundation of all that is done here. The faith that is available to all girls at CGA is the cement which holds together the top-notch academics and the therapeutic progress that students make, allowing them to become productive and happy members of society.

If you have yet to find something that works for your daughter, Columbus Girls Academy may be the answer to your prayers. Call us today at (334) 855-3695 to learn more.
