A Lifeline to Learning

The Pioneer School is a non-profit, co-educational program which serves high potential, emotionally sound students with language-based specific learning disabilities/ dyslexia. A full-day, comprehensive program, the Pioneer School admits students of elementary, middle, and high school age.

The Pioneer School provides a high level of individual attention with a three to one student/ teacher ratio. The goal of the School is to develop in the students the language, literacy, and study skills they need in order to return to a regular academic program. It is also the School's goal that each student develop knowledge, confidence, and a spirit of inquiry in the areas of social studies, the sciences, mathematics, physical education, and the arts.
