AlignStaffing - Your Ally in Healthcare and Social Service Staffing

AlignStaffing is a full service provider of pediatric and school-based mental health and therapy services nationwide. We were established in 1998 by a team of therapists, clinical providers and business professionals who saw a growing need for specialized support in schools and other pediatric health care environments. As the need for therapy and developmental support services increases in school systems across the country, it gets harder to identify qualified providers in your area. AlignStaffing can help. With more than 10 years of experience in sourcing, screening and training pediatric therapy providers, we are ready and able to work with you to identify the best-matched personnel for your programs.

Our Clients

  • Public and non-public school systems
  • Private pediatric facilities
  • Pediatric mental health clinics
  • Government facilities
  • Home-based care

Our experience providing therapy and mental health services to a variety of pediatric treatment environments provides us with the insight into the requirements of your facility type. We are able to identify subtle differences in the experience of our health care providers that may make one candidate a better fit than another.

Our Providers
AlignStaffing's healthcare professionals are the cornerstone of our services to you. We conduct a complete credentialing and background screening process for every provider on staff, and we provide training and continuing education to ensure that our therapists are always operating according to the most up to date practices and regulations. Each of our providers is fully trained in the following areas:

IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)
Regulatory compliance can be a difficult, confusing, and often costly concern for schools and other pediatric facilities. Each of our providers is fully trained in the proper regulations and care programs in order to eliminate confusion, prevent costly missteps and ensure compliant, regulated care for every patient.

Standardized assessment tools
The first step in delivering the most effective treatment for each patient is to utilize the most appropriate and up to date assessment tools available. Our providers are constantly updated and trained to use the most advanced models based on current research. As a result, our therapists are able to identify the most appropriate assessment tools for each case based on age and disability.

Report writing
Based on assessments, our therapists generate a comprehensive report for each patient that includes a comprehensive list of assessments that were utilized, detailed results of each assessment, a discussion of these results including strengths and weaknesses, and recommended goals and objectives to be included in the IEP (Individual Education Plan).

IEP/IFSP development
AlignStaffing believes that each child has an individual set of treatment needs and that in most cases a standard treatment plan template will not be as effective as a customized approach. Our providers develop comprehensive plans that guide the treatment from start to finish. We don’t use templates. Instead, we individualize the plans for each child based on their unique developmental needs in order to achieve optimal results.

Progress reports and therapy notes
Accountability and measurable progress that is what you can expect from AlignStaffing. Our therapists use standardized methods to document daily treatment activity, outcomes, observations notes on improvement and recommendations. We also record quarterly outcomes and benchmark them against IEP goals.

Our Services
The services that AlignStaffing provides are as varied as the types of environments where our providers work. We offer several specialties, each supported by highly qualified health care professionals, in the following fields:

Physical therapy
Physical therapy includes the development of gross motor skills and rehabilitates musculoskeletal deficits occurring with physical disabilities. Strength and endurance training is also included in physical therapy.

Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy improves the areas of fine motor, visual motor, and visual perception through purposeful everyday activities. Therapy includes hand skills, sensory processing and integration functions, eating, self-care, and social skills.

Speech-language pathology
Speech and language therapy targets the communication needs of children and adults. Our Speech Language Pathologists provide therapy for comprehensive and expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral motor, and feeding skills. Social skills training are also available. Alternative communication, such as sign language, pictures, or communication devices for non-verbal clients can also be developed through speech therapy.

Social work
School Social Workers provide a link between home, school, and community. This service enables students and their families to overcome social and personal problems which impede learning. School social workers provide individual and group counseling, consultation to teachers, and other services which help students cope with their disabilities. They collaborate with community agencies and provide case management for students and families requiring multiple services.

Nursing
School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self management, self advocacy and learning.

School psychology
School psychologists work with students individually and in groups. They also develop programs to train teachers and parents about effective teaching and learning strategies, techniques to manage behavior at home and in the classroom, working with students with disabilities or with special talents, addressing abuse of drugs and other substances, and preventing and managing crises.
