PAVE, a non-profit, parent-directed organization, exists to increase independence, empowerment, and future opportunities for consumers
with special needs, their families and communities, through
training, information referral & support.

PAVE can help you:

  • Understand the educational system for pre-schoolers & school age children
  • Access early intervention services for very young children from birth to three
  • Comprehend the adult service systems as your child transitions to adult life
  • Provide support when you learn that your child has a disability or chronic health need
  • Workshops on subjects such as special education information, transition, cultural diversity, Medicaid, SSI, family centered care, Birth to Three, military issues, communication skills, and many others
  • Lending library- books, video and audio tapes
  • Info about starting a parent support group
