Students Find Their Landing Place with TechieForLife, a Destination School

Young adults with social, emotional and/or academic issues due to neurological differences find the support and peer belonging they've been missing. Adulting Made Easier!

TechieForLife (TFL) is a specialized co-ed mentoring program that includes school and work training, all wrapped in a college living experience. We are located in beautiful Southern Utah, students benefit from individual mentoring at every step of their journey. Students are guided in developing their unique strengths, so they can achieve independence and a career.

TFL's three possible tracks include:

  • Vocational training (with industry relevant certifications in computer coding, software design, web development or graphic design at a customized pace leading to internship and/or job placement with ongoing support,);
  • comprehensive college support; or
  • an apprenticeship.
Students enrolled in TFL's therapeutically sound wrap-around program receive:
  • Housing in college approved, 24-hour on-site supported student apartments
  • Weekly activities and community volunteering
  • Monthly overnight adventure/trips
  • Gym membership
  • Life skills classes
  • Student Committee leadership opportunities
  • Personal mentoring
  • One contracted therapy session a week, if needed
We help our students:
  • Find their path - with in-house computer tech certifications, traditional college or trade school support, apprenticeships, and/or job experience and internships.
  • Find friends & belong - with our built-in community and positive peer culture.
  • Get wins - with mentoring on everything they need to be successful including daily living, social success, physical wellness, and emotional health.
