Therapeutic Boys' Facility with Structure in Washington

Tyler Ranch, Inc. offers counseling and guidance to aid youth in becoming caring and productive citizens. Deals with self-esteem, manipulative behaviors, substance experimentation, and academic neglect and problems. The normal length of stay is 1 year. Tyler Ranch is a residential facility for up to 16 boys, ages 6 through 18 years old. Tyler Ranch is licensed and credentialed by the State of Washington.

Valid reasons for admission: Behavioral problems, acting out, rebellious, seeking negative peers, ADD/ADHD, conflict within the family, problems at school, and neglecting studies.

Relevant services offered but not the basis for admission: Adoption issues, adjudicated minor criminal activity, attachment disorders, mood disorders, remedial education, and passively non ­ compliant.

Issues that may preclude admission: Physically aggressive, violent behavior, firesetting.

Medication: Use of psychotropic medications fully compatible with program routine. Psychiatrist available to monitor medication progress.

Rate: $2,500/month
