Pathfinder provides information about disabilities, including definitions of disabling conditions, laws and procedures, and family support materials. This information is available through mail, telephone, or direct visits to the Center as well as from the Pathfinder web site.

Pathfinder provides direct assistance in:

  • Understanding parental involvement with schools in special education

  • Understanding Individualized Education Program development and content

  • Identification of positive parent involvement approaches; training to increase parent involvement with knowledge to support informed decision making.

Pathfinder also provides community based outreach training.
