The Multisensory Training Institute of the Stratford Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating our nation’s teachers. We seek to spread the concept of multisensory language instruction through reasonably-priced professional development workshops.
We strive to provide courses and specialized workshops to meet the needs of the early literacy educators, reading coaches, speech pathologists and special educators. By laying the foundation for reading success, our programs assist the educator in helping and preventing struggling early readers. Through these programs, teachers have an invaluable tool to identify children at risk in literacy via their Tier 1, 2 and 3 interventions.
We offer training in reading programs for early and struggling readers.
Our instruction far exceeds the typical phonemic sequencing instruction of rhyme and word play. MTI’s unique instruction delivers three core components to guarantee a student's foundational reading base: Discrimination, Sequencing, and Manipulation.
MTI's professional development is simply the beginning of a long and valuable journey. One-day follow-up workshops are frequently offered to individuals and districts in order to support the development of each participant’s individual program. We also provide fully customized on-site trainings developed for a specific school or district. Please contact us to find out if we can meet your unique needs.
