Residential Academy for At Risk Teen Boys

9-12 month residential program for at risk teen boys who are having a problem with anger management, low self esteem, drug and alcohol experimentation, and doing poorly in school. We provide individual and group counseling to work on issues as well as teach students self discipline in and out of the classroom. Glacier Mountain Academy is licensed by the Department of Health and Welfare, and the State of Idaho.

Glacier Mountain Academy consists of two different sites. When students first arrive, they are in the main site which will emphasize structure, boundaries, and give students a chance to work on specific issues. When students progress, and, are on the upper levels, they may transfer to the transition house which will allow more responsibility, and give students more freedom to make choices. At both sites, education will be featured giving students options, such as attending Glacier Mountain Academy's virtual academy, attending Sandpoint High School, or pursuing a GED.
