Communication In-Roads in Towson, Maryland

Communication In-Roads is dedicated to helping you and helping your child with speech and language development and enhancement including fluency, articulation, swallowing, oral-motor, voice, expressive and receptive language.

Whether your concern is:

  • forming meaningful messages using age appropriate grammar and word finding (expressive language)
  • understanding what is being said (receptive language)
  • producing age appropriate sounds (articulation)
  • turn taking, initiating and maintaining conversation, repairing conversation breakdowns, interpreting non-verbal cues and perspective taking (pragmatics, social language skills)
  • swallowing liquids or foods (feeding, swallowing)
  • tolerance/expansion of food textures
  • pitch, loudness or quality relating to individual age, gender and culture (voice)
  • muscle function and motor planning that affect eating, drinking or speaking (oral motor)
  • attending, listening skills, following multi-step directions, processing information, reading, spelling and vocabulary (Auditory Processing Disorder)

Communication In-Roads offers family/caregiver support along with individually tailored speech and language services. CAREing multi-modal interdisciplinary pediatric programs are open to the larger community as well as to our clients.Our attention to detail means we are available to answer your questions as well as those of your child. Our often playful, always positive and thoroughly caring interventions make each child's progress a painless adventure with focused results. Children eagerly anticipate their "play time" with therapists. For many, it's the first time they have experienced self-empowering accomplishments.

Communication In-Roads is a fee-for-service program. Documentation is available for personal insurance coverage submission, if appropriate.
