The Boling Center serves children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Developmental disabilities are conditions beginning before adulthood which are expected to present problems for some time. They include problems in learning, physical problems, or both.

The Boling Center provides direct assistance in:

• Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations by an interdisciplinary team.

• Diagnostic and treatment services by developmental pediatrics, psychology, social work, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical threapy, speech/language pathology, and audiology.

The Boling Center accepts private insurance, TennCare, Arkansas and Mississippi Medicaid, and Medicare.

The Center is part of the University's College of Medicine and is Tennessee's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities
