A Community- Parent Resource Center

We are a community parent resource center funded in part by a grant from the United States Department of Education and provide educational advocacy for parents who have children with special needs, training in special education procedures and policies, low cost ADD assessments with licensed clinician evaluation, social skills classes for children ages 6 through 17, and support groups for parents who have children with special needs.

Our Services Include:
* Training for parents and caregivers to effectively access the special education maze and become strong advocates for their children with disabilities.
* On-Site advocates for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities in the local school setting.
* Share/Support for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities...as well as adults with disabilities.
* Low-cost assessments for attention deficit disorders.
* Informational Seminars through its speakers bureau on subjects dealing with specific disabilities and special education and related services.
* Counseling for parents on the benefits of alternative methods of special education dispute resolution, such as mediation.
* An informative newsletter with best-practices information on the full range of disabilities.
* Diagnotistic referrals.
* Social Skills training for children with disabilities
