Bridges Academy is a therapeutic boarding school that is dedicated to reuniting struggling teenage boys with their families by empowering them through self-discovery and education, helping them overcome personal challenges and uncovering their true potential, so they may become insightful, positive and contributing members of their family and community. Our program focuses on three strong core components that include academic achievement, behavior and emotional growth and family and individual counseling. Our students benefit from a year-round, cutting-edge curriculum designed for troubled teenage boys between the ages 14-17 struggling with emotional, behavioral and/or academic issues. Here are just some highlights of our program:

  • Safe, Single Sex Environment
  • Individual Achievement Plans
  • Strong Family Support System
  • Individualized Academic Curriculum
  • Family, Group and Individual Counseling
  • Positive Peer Environment
  • Experiential Learning
  • Trust Level System
  • Small, Intimate Setting
  • Community Living

Students who complete their program at Bridges Academy are more likely to succeed in life. They re-enter their world with healthy, realistic goals and the necessary skills to achieve those goals. They have learned the value of total honesty as well as the value of being open and communicative with their family, asking for help and embracing life when it gets rocky. They have learned that trust is earned and their coping skills have improved in that they have a strong self-care plan in place and can rebound quickly if focus is lost. In short, they become insightful, positive and contributing members of their family and community with a clear vision of their future.
